Abstract
Education poses a big challenge on us teachers today. In a world of fast ICT and scientific development people need to maximize our capacity to keep a mind of our own while we expand our skills to communicate with others.
The media seems to have everything ready made for us to absorb and make it ours without much analysis. Education is what can grant people our freedom. Students need to be able to ask clarifying questions and to read messages beyond the surface made evident by media communicators. But how can we educate students to empower them in this context?
In this presentation, I intend to speak about how we can use ELT as a springboard to enhance "soft skills" management in our students.
