International Women's Day in Namaste Indian Group Magazine

I'm proud honoured to have had my article published by Namaste Indian Group. This time, the issue was devoted to honour women and I consider all women need (or better, must) have a say about the unfair situations many women undergo. If we make their problems visible, they are likely to get fixed by powerful people who care. If this is not possible, at least we will be doing our share to change the world. Let's go on doing little things in each one's context because they are the ones which bring about bigger changes.

You can access the whole magazine at https://heyzine.com/flip-book/a997d1ba44.html?fbclid=IwAR2Li1pL7fhdKW8uDDNYKSpMUcxTS3SjqIsiLpR3VBW8EqW4xIIWM8cgqtE

Hope you enjoy reading it.

Learning humbleness from our great goal-keeper

I shared this video so that my former students and colleagues could develop their listening skill and, besides and more important, to help them perceive the wonderful attitude this great sportsman showed.

His English was described by the journalist as excellent, and I adhere to his opinion. Dibu speaks an excellent English for international communication, absolutely intelligible and with natural pacing. His intonation meant exactly what he intended to transmit and his sounds never interfered with intelligibility.

There is always someone who finds something to criticize. This is when my message goes: “Look at life from the positive side and you’ll have plenty to enjoy.”

This video makes me double happy. I feel proud to perceive an Argentine footballer speaking English with almost no accent, and his message shows incredible humbleness.

Maybe some of the listeners could take after him.
