I'm proud and honoured to receive this relevant international award.

I have always considered education as a valuable tool to empower individuals. This acknowledgement has reinforced my perspective.

I consider that small deeds can bring about great changes. I will go on doing small things to improve achievements in my followers.

Wonderful experience in Reconquista

Last June, I had the pleasure to lead two workshops at the ISP N°4 in Reconquista. It was in the frame of the IV JORNADA DE FORMACIÓN Y REFLEXION sobre la enseñanza de la lengua extranjera inglés.

The audience was great. They participated actively interacting with me and among them.

The authorities received me warmly and pampered me with two meetings before and after the presentation.

Online Training Camp 7 (OTC7)

Yesterday morning I had the pleassure to lead a workshop for the OTC 7 organized by Educationists of Pakistan and Global. I spoke about the Role of AI in Education. 

The organization was impeccable and I had the opportunity to share information and ideas as regards how to implement the use of AI in education.

The audience was responsive and showed great interest in participating.

A rewarding surprise

 Today I found a wonderful surprise in my inbox. Tinta Fresca was advertising my book "Light Up" in their mail. 

I wrote the book in 2019 and, from today's perspective, I can appreciate the great work we did with people from Pearson. All the different teaching angles have been covered and teachers have a valuable tool for developing their lessons. Students can study at their own pace and they can even enjoy learning through games especially deviced for the teaching purpose.

ASPI PRACTICAL ISSUES 2025

 On August 23rd we had the traditional ASPI event.

This year, as on many other ocassions, I had the honour to be one of the speakers together with Viviana Regodesebes and Abigail Cernotto.

The President of ASPI, Andrea Gaitan, opened the event and introduced the first speaker, Viviana Regodesebes, who showed us how she prepared a revision session for her students at the Teaching Education Programme using "Genially" to device a "Scape Room" game.

I hope many teachers take the idea to make their lessons more fun while still demanding.

After a short break, Abigail Cernotto presented her perspective as regards teaching adults and how she tries AI to build confidence in her adult students.

There was an interesting exchange of points of view.

After the coffee break, I worked with an enthusiastic audience on trying ways of raising students awareness as regards the benefits and risks we face when using AI. I also emphasized the importance of teaching our students the efficient, effective and ethical use of AI.

A bit of theory introduced tasks which kept the audience busy. From time to time, we also laughed a bit.

I thank dearfully this marvellous audience for their active participation in the tasks. A workshop is  successful only if the participants engage in sharing their ideas.

There was full house and the event finished with raffles to give out books, dictionaries and teaching material offered by publishing houses and bookshops.

One of the things I value the most about these events, together with the possibility of getting envolved in Professional Development, is the chance we have to meet colleagues, many of whom are former students, and feel their passion for teaching.

Thanks ASPI for this invitation to enjoy the love of teaching once more.

My Participation at the Online Training Cap Season 6

 Last Saturday 28th June I participated as a speaker at the Online Training Camp Season 6 organized by EOPG. Ms Shumaila Waqas, CEO of EOPG, invited me to be one of the invited speakers. This is the 6th year I participate in the events organised by this important academic organization.

I spoke online for many educationists who participated activily giving the event a great rythm. I thank them dearly for their collaboration, which made my presentation livelier.

My Presentation at the International Event in Georgia

 Last Thursday, I had the honour of being a guest speaker at the International Conference organized by the  Teachers Community Georgia.

It is a real pleasure to see how this teachers community work hard to keep up their professional development. The audience was absolutely respectful and showed great interest in the presentations.

Teens love Miley Cyrus.

In this song she gives an empowering message for girls. We can use the song as trigger for an engaging lesson and we can also help students to develop some soft skills so necessary for their interaction in this difficult world.

Can we consider this "ART"? Why? / Why not?

Remember students can use their mother tongue whenever they want to express an idea for which they lack vocabulary in English. Write the expressions on the board so that everybody can see them and reinforce their use once the discussion finishes.

When students are engaged in sharing opinions, they are more likely to memorise the vocabulary they learn when trying to communicate.

Edu Talks at Azerbaijan

 Not only did I have the opportunity to make women's voice heard, but I could also listen to enlightening academicians working on the same topic from each individual perspective. It was a really enriching sharing experience.

Azerbaijan Conference organized by IIU

I'm thankful to IIU and Prof Inga Karchilava for having invited me to speak at this international conference. 

Having the opportunity to highlight the role of women in education and share perspectives with other important academicians is a luxury we cannot access too often. This time I have had this pleasure.

 

Crucero en familia

Decidir un viaje en familia es la mejor opción que podemos tener. Compartir momentos de relax y alegría ayuda a reforzar los vínculos intrafamiliares.

Este mes de febrero nos embarcamos en una aventura con toda la familia. ¡Gracias, Dios, por permitirnos tener este lujo!

El mayor y el menor compartiendo el emblema de las remeras.

Paisajes maravillosos son muestra de la grandeza de Dios. Compartir semejante belleza con la familia, ver las caritas sorprendidas de los niños disfrutando de cada experiencia, son los mejores regalos que podemos recibir de la vida.

Jugar a ser piratas por un ratito nos permite introducirnos en la trama de los cuentos que compartimos alrededor de libros que relataban aventuras mágicas. Ahora nosotros éramos parte de ellas.

Sentarnos en el balcón del camarote nos enfrentaba a ciudades como Camboriú que se elevan en la costa del Brasil.

Ilha Bella nos ofrecía un paisaje bellísimo.

Luego seguimos viaje hacia el norte y llegamos a Buzios. Allí tuvimos la oportunidad de vivir la libertad de nadar en mar abierto. Simplemente maravilloso.

El mar nos recibe en su superficie y nos mece para reforzar nuestra paz y seguridad. Una sensación increíblemente mágica. Ser parte de la naturaleza. Estar entretejidos en las aguas.

Relajarnos es fácil con tanto confort. Aquí el benjamín juega su rol de turista.

Río nos abrió sus puertas y llegamos a agradecer al Cristo del Corcovado.

La despedida del crucero fue maravillosamente alegre.

Solo agradecer.
