Some "oldies" that always work

Every now and then, it is useful to have students memorise short texts. They have to read them over
and over again, and repeat what they are reading. If they do it meaningfully, they improve their grammar, lexis and phonology. Their production is accurate because they are reproducing something they have rehearsed. At the same time, the practised material becomes entrenched.
