Practical Issues in EFL in San Justo

We've been to San Justo.
In this photo: Cristina Rivas, me, Adriana Díaz, Claudia Piccirilli, Verónica Furlani and Gisela Tregnaghi.
People at Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes "Int. Ángel Pedrazzoli" gave us a really warm welcome.
It's been great to meet our ex-students who are now hard-working colleagues.

The venue was "La Casa del Libro", a very comfortable and well-equipped conference room.
The Head of the Esc. de Bellas Artes spoke about the importance of having professional development courses when she introduced the first presenter.

Prof. Gisela Tregnaghi introduced Claudia Piccirilli to the audience.

Claudia started her Story telling workshop, which was followed attentively by the audience.

People in the audience followed the different stories and analysed together with Claudia details about ways of telling them to students and how this can enhance motivation.

The second workshop was taught by Cristina Rivas, who presented classroom activities for children. She showed how we can change traditional activities in order to have fun in the classroom. Something children can profit from.
Then we had break for lunch.
The third workshop was devoted to find ways of exploiting texts in order to enhance learners participation in awareness rising activities.

The last workshop was lead by Adriana Díaz, who dispelled myths we used to share on certain pronunciation topics. She called them "ghosts" and was really successful in "busting" them.

The receptive audience made us feel that the trip was worth doing and we are willing to go back to San Justo whenever the opportunity comes.
Thanks a lot to everybody who made this meeting so rewarding.
See you soon!
